Inn On Destin Harbor, Ascend Hotel Collection, Destin

We had high hopes for a memorable anniversary getaway, but unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. The hotel is clearly undergoing renovations, which led to a lot of chaos and confusion during our stay. While the view from our room was absolutely stunning, the overall condition and management of the hotel left much to be desired. We couldn't enjoy our time as planned due to constant disturbances and inadequate facilities.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location right on the harbor offered beautiful views and the staff were very accommodating, the rooms showed signs of age and cleanliness could have been better. I appreciated the quiet environment and the accessibility to local activities, but I do wish the bathrooms were larger and better maintained. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially for a peaceful getaway, but there are areas that need improvement.
